Animation?
The greatest advantage that images have over literary language is their communicative impact, their capacity and speed of transmission: The brain interprets iconography instantly, while a text must be decoded. The main reason why manuals include drawings.
Despite our preference for frame-by-frame animation, we work with a multitude of techniques and visual lines (cut-out, rotoscoping, motion graphics, cartoon or realistic style), always trying to choose what best fits, to find the exact point between technique and idea.

Drawings
At Hindama we also have something essential that sets us apart from the rest; our own graphic style that generates a personalized product with a clear visual identity. A style characterized by its technical and conceptual versatility. Without forgetting our vast knowledge of the history of animation and illustration, which allows us to find various solutions to the same problem. Always to the consumer’s taste.
Advertising
Our product can be especially interesting in the advertising field:
Animation is a point of color that stands out unmistakably in today’s market. In contrast to the impersonal coldness of generic recording, drawings endure. Animation seeks to enhance its message through expressive and technical resources that other genres could not achieve.
‘Imagination is infinite’, they say.
Explanatory films
Complex ideas can be assimilated much better with an animated piece. Thanks to its power of synthesis, it allows us to select and condense the message, unlike the excess of information in a real image video.
Motion graphics
We also work with graphic elements: logos, typography, titles… We like traditional animation, but we do not ignore the advantages of computer animation that sometimes greatly simplifies the work.
Teaser and Trailer
At Hindama we take care of the entire creative process, from the conception of an idea and its script, the artistic aspect, the storyboard or the animatics, to the final touches of post-production or sound, developing a unique product.
We start with an initial contact in which we consult the client, gather information, plan the video and outline a story. Then we conceive the script, always trying to address and enhance the key points, which we then capture in the storyboard.
This is where we shape our story to visualize it, defining each of the shots that will make up the animation. Once complete, we will proceed to make the animatic: We will take that first work to animate it in a simple way, analyzing and adjusting the rhythms;

At this stage we use the voiceover to specify the timing of the piece since the voice recording provides extra information by defining the rhythm, complementing and highlighting the actions of the video.
We begin the conceptual work, the design of characters and backgrounds.
Depending on the characteristics of the project, our illustrators will look for the most appropriate style to conceive the universe where the story will take place.
Once the style has been decided, the illustrations are executed and animated in the following step:
The most important thing is that the animation is at the service of the script and the message that is intended to be conveyed. Hindama’s animators will ensure that this is the case, without forgetting originality or neglecting detail for a single moment.
Once satisfied with the result, we enter post-production, which finishes forging the visual product, recomposing and unifying all the elements in play, seeking harmony. This phase includes colour adjustments, various touch-ups and the addition/inclusion of the relevant visual effects.
To finish the product, and always according to its nature, it will consist of sound effects and music; sound design. And last but not least, music and sound effects.
A good soundtrack complements and embellishes the work, making it shine brightly. We prefer a more personal product, which escapes the conventional market, so we advocate unique sound pieces.

WHO WE ARE
Hindama is an animation studio that has taken shape over time, made up of an unorthodox group of professionals in the creative field, who with their similarities and differences try to build small handcrafted pieces (frame by frame) that communicate something, that perpetuate an essence that is being lost.
Or maybe we just want to tell stories.
Who we are
We are a small but great animation studio with staff located between Germany and Spain. We are qualified to create animation pieces from the storyboard to the final post-production, including music and sound design.
